Build a Community of Support

  • Support the broader health of our colleagues – physical, mental, emotional, financial, and social – through University programs like Life & Work Connections.  Our own Ryan Daily, Life Coach, is also available to support faculty and staff with mental and emotional issues in a confidential setting.  Shares these resources often and normalize their use for others.
  • Regularly check in on each other and remember to recognize and celebrate the positive actions of others.
  • Assume best intentions in others.
  • Treat one another as humans with full lives first; business as usual during or after a traumatic experience sends the message that it didn’t matter.
