Faculty Workload Guidelines
Below are links to faculty workload guidelines designed to help Agriculture, Life and Veterinary Sciences, and Cooperative Extension administrators during faculty evaluations and the workload assignment process. These guidelines have been established using faculty governance mores. The guidelines for teaching workload were developed in 2008 by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Instructional Accountability and Responsibility Committee. The CALS Dean's Research Advisory Committee developed guidelines for research workload in August 2012. Guidelines for Extension workload were formulated in September 2012 by a team of University of Arizona Cooperative Extension administrators and faculty who have served on continuing status review committees.
