The APC serves as a base for appointed professionals to get safe support for any issues they may have as employees in ALVSCE.
We Represent You!
The APC facilitates the process of identifying and communicating issues important to ALVSCE appointed professionals to ALVSCE administrators. ALVSCE APC provides input on requests for advice from the Dean and Executive Council, raises issues concerning ALVSCE appointed professionals to ALVSCE administration, and promotes the best interests of the ALVSCE appointed professionals’ community within the college and university.
Improve Interaction Among APs
ALVSCE APC improves communication among appointed professionals in the college using the listservs, websites, and by holding regular meetings open to all ALVSCE appointed professionals. We strive to prevent silos and increase transparency while we connect appointed professionals with each other and pertinent matters.

Post-Doctoral Students
Post-doctoral students are supported by APAC and therefore ALVSCE APC in order to provide them a voice that is otherwise unheard by a shared governance body.
