APC Membership Guidelines
Primary Goals
- Identify and communicate issues to the University and ALVSCE leadership
- Advocate on behalf of ALVSCE APs
- Provide professional development opportunities
- Help ensure diversity & inclusion
Expectations of Members
- Help make ALVSCE a place that people want to work
- Remain active members of APC
- Regular meeting attendance
- Volunteer to participate and help with tasks
- Motivated to advance the interests of ALVSCE and its missions
- Represent the interests of ALVSCE APs both within the college and University context
- Regular attendance in the monthly meetings hosted by UA Appointed Professionals Advisory Council (APAC)
- Identify and contribute ways to improve the working environment for APs
Membership Capacity
ALVSCE APC must not exceed 12 members (or about 5% of the ALVSCE AP population) and strives to not have less than 7 members (2.5% of the ALVSCE AP population).

Membership strives to represent ALVSCE AP by proportionally aligning with the following points.
